I’m Chris Conway. I live in a small town in Connecticut, and my all-time favorite thing to do is play my guitar and write songs.  In the words of one of my latest songs, “I am a boy with the mind of a wise man.” The life of a 12-year-old American preteen isn’t too deep, so I like to put myself in other people’s shoes who actually have something worth singing about. Then again, most of the symbolism in my songs is based on my own life, such as in “Young Child,” “Home” and “The Real Thing.”  Otherwise, I’m just trying to get by in  life without screwing up. In that sense, a gig and life are one in the same.
